Why did the progress bars jump backwards?
Apparently, a certain user was caught cheating and his/her account was disabled. Therefore, this user's kills are no longer counted. If the total kills count was 10,000,000 before the disabling, and the user disabled had 1,000,000 kills, the new total kills count will be 9,000,000.

Why do certain messages appear with "
" before them?
This has nothing to do with the messages themselves. When user A posts a message, he sends it by pressing "Return" (which is also known as "Enter"). If, however, he presses Ctrl+Return, his next message will be accompanied by the string "
", like this:

Why does the button move?
This is one of the cheating-prevention methods. In other words, the button's movement makes it harder to cheat. You can't stop it, in case you wondered.

Why did the button turn grey? Why couldn't I click when it was grey?
When you click anywhere near the button, but not on it, it turns grey for 6-7 seconds; you can't click it then. This is another safety measure.

The user ahead of me vanished!
No, he didn't. Let's say your "Previous Rank" was A, and your "Next Rank" was B. Once you manage to close the gap from B, as you and B have the same amount of kills, if you stop, you will see user A as "Previous Rank", and another user, C, as "Next Rank". This won't change even if you click some more, or even if you reload the page. If you pass B and then re-log, though, you should see B as the "Previous Rank".

It seems as if the world's population grew.
You're probably wrong. This could happen only if no one clicks. It is true that two more people are "born" every second, however, they usually die instantly.
Of course, if a NaN occurs, the population (or "Population left", to be more precise) will rise.
